MIT and Kearney reveal the most promising use cases for applying Artificial Intelligence to the mobility ecosystem during Riyadh conference

PARIS, FRANCE and CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS — The MIT Mobility Initiative (MMI) and CoMotion today announced a broad ‘Knowledge Partnership’ for the inaugural edition of CoMotion GLOBAL in Riyadh. Some 3,000 leaders at the cutting edge of mobility and transportation will convene in the Saudi capital December 7th to 9th to reimagine the future of urban mobility.

The MIT Mobility Initiative brings together faculty and researchers across MIT in a global platform to accelerate the development of safe, clean, and inclusive mobility systems through research, education, entrepreneurship, and engagement. In Riyadh, the MIT Mobility Initiative will unveil a joint study on Artificial Intelligence and Mobility, undertaken in collaboration with Kearney, the global management consulting firm. The MIT Mobility Initiative is also organizing a deep-dive workshop during the CoMotion GLOBAL conference.

John Rossant, CoMotion Founder and CEO, described MIT’s involvement in CoMotion GLOBAL as, “an important step towards strengthening the role of Riyadh as a global hub of innovation in the mobility field.”
